Hi Moira! The words in your note came just at the right time. My cravings have pretty much been in check since starting the detox, but I came home late the night of your message and came very close to wolfing down a piece of cheese (as in cheddar, not cashew!) Thought I would turn on the computer first and look for some inspiring words — and there was your message. Your words gave me the willpower for the craving to pass. This is just one of a number of small things that have happened over the past few weeks that tells me that the universe is supporting me in my efforts! Cheers.

I’m very pleased with all the recipes and things I am learning. I had 2 main goals for this cleanse:
1) eliminate sugar in my diet. I don’t drink coffee, hardly any wine, and no white flours or pastas of any kind, so I was already ahead of the game in those areas. But I love milk chocolate. I had been cutting back on sugar intake during the month of June already, and the cleanse is helping to keep me inspired. So far, so good. I’m very proud of myself, because I’ve never gone this long without having any chocolate.
2) Second goal was I wanted to get more healthy recipes. So far, I’ve met both goals! With the reduction in sugar, my facial skin has taken on a beautiful texture I’ve never seen. It has inspired me to keep going!

Moira!! You are a goddess in my book! I just can’t tell you how much I am loving having all of these great recipes and the beautiful pictures. I have tried removing wheat and dairy from my diet in the past, but didn’t have a good plan and often couldn’t figure out what to make with what I had and really struggled. Plus I felt awful and hungry the whole time. This has been a completely different experience for me, thanks to you. I have all the ingredients that I need at my fingertips and I’ve been following your recipes for every single meal. They’ve been fantastic! I’ve enjoyed it so much I’ve been taking pictures of all of them – they are so lovely. And best of all, I feel great! I haven’t had any cravings at all and I haven’t even been hungry between meals….which is extremely unusual for me. Shows what eating good, nutritious food can do for you. I am thrilled, and as Susan said in her post, I am definitely going to incorporate this into my normal lifestyle after the 21 days. Thank you again!!

Wow, one week to go and I’m feeling fantastic. I’ve lost some weight around the waist and belly so my clothes are fitting better. I’ve got way more energy, and to challenge myself I hiked up a mountain yesterday with only my breakfast shake and a bit of home made granola in my system. I had more energy than ever before, and my knees didn’t crap out on the way down. Some other minor aches and pains I’d been experiencing before I started the cleanse are also fading, or are now completely gone…Yay!!

Just some feedback on the recipes so far – the power patties and the chickpea croquettes – both amazing! (I am actually excited about having another power patty for my lunch tomorrow). Made the tahini garlic sauce for the patties and the mango salsa with the chickpea croquettes. Also VERY good. The cashew cheese has been very versatile – had it on my salad, turned it into the ‘cream’ sauce for my veggies and tonight used it again to make the dressing with agave nectar and vinegar, love how you are re-using things in different ways the following day! Can’t wait to try the angry style grains, my husband does a lot of Indonesian cooking so I actually have sambal oelek in my kitchen!

My weekly grocery bill has dropped by about 30% thanks to the elimination of frozen vegetarian dinners, crackers, pringles (miss you baby) and that’s not even including the savings on wine! Sweet, sweet savings! xo

Cracks me up. We have never really enjoyed tofu before, but I’m so pleased we’re trying it again. Tonight we’re repeating the potato and leek soup, because it was so good last week. I have to try the current recipes, but it’s hard when my family keeps asking for the stuff we’ve already had!

Oh, good to know I can make the 911 snack bars! i have to say, I am LOVING how easy all these recipes are. Part of why I hadn’t gone veggie before was it all seemed so much work. But everything so far has been unbelievably easy and quick. I am thrilled I decided to take part in this cleanse! :)

I had a great experience with Feel Good Fast. First the shopping lists and menus provided were easy to follow and really helpful – this isn’t what I thought fasting would be like at all, this is more like focusing on getting healthy, while eating delicious food with lots of encouragement and support from Moira. After giving up coffee for the duration of the fast, I find I don’t need it and have no desire to go back to it! I’ve lost 9 lbs and I feel fantastic!

Just a note to say thanks so much for a great 21 days. I wasn’t sure how effective an online cleanse would be, however, the tools (facebook, twitter, blog, youtube, etc) all made it very successful and easy for me to engage in the process. As far as results, I have felt great since starting the cleanse. Lots of energy, no ‘bloated’ feeling after eating, etc. I still haven’t had a lot of meat in the past week and even cheese has been easier to pass up. My morning coffee has been replaced with green tea (although I did have a soy latte earlier this week). Also, as a side effect, not necessarily the reason I was doing the cleanse I lost 14lbs!
