DIY Green Loft Reno

rick-paintingIt’s been two weeks since I moved into the cold, unpainted, dusty construction zone that is the new FGG headquarters in downtown Toronto. A lot has happened in that time! The dust has settled, and the space is now warming up and coming together nicely after some dear friends added their used furniture to the decor.

The videos below will break it down for you, in order, from the beginning.

My favorite addition, by far, is the reclaimed bowling lane kitchen island, and I can’t wait for you to come by for a LOVE cafe in the new year! (more…)

Vancouver Convention Centre

vanconventioncentreI was in Vancouver for a couple of days and got a behind-the-scenes tour of the brand new beautiful Vancouver Convention Centre.

It’s gonna be media ground zero for the 2010 Olympics, coming up fast. Not only is the new Convention Centre spectacular inside and out, it’s one of the greenest convention centres in the world.

Maho Bay Eco-Tents

Now that the colors of autumn are fading, the sky’s about to turn slate gray for months and holiday madness is about to get silly on us, why not escape to a Green Territory in the middle of the aqualluring Caribbean Sea and ponder peace?
