Go Green Smoothie

It is greener on the other side! Go green in the mornings!

This is the easiest way to enjoy a quick and nutritious breakfast. It’s alkaline, easily digested, full of protein, vitamins and minerals, essential fatty acids and fibre. Two juice glasses of the Go Green Smoothie gets me well into the day, even through a vigorous workout, before I even think about lunch.

For 2:

In your vita-mix or blender, blend together 1 organic banana with 1 other organic fruit, like a mango, orange, peach, a cup of blueberries, strawberries, raspberries or whatever happens to be fresh and in season, a cup of organic orange juice, a cup of organic vanilla soy milk (or almond, rice or hemp), a large tablespoon of organic flax seed oil or hemp seed oil, a heaping scoop of Garden of Life “Perfect Food”, a heaping tablespoon of organic wheat bran, a small handful of soaked almonds, and if you like, a pinch of cinnamon.

Sip slowly and feel the goodness of going green in every cell of your body.
